Water Figures

My work is about the connection of myself and the sea. Some prints and paintings are a part of a figurative series that reveal the lingering fears of drowning and helplessness when captivated by water. Others take the role of deities and personifications of nature. My feelings are in conflict as fear begins to dissipate and admiration for the ocean engulfs me.
